Tuesday Music*

Tuesday, December 13

Feeling very inspired by Florence + The Machine acoustic concert offered by BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge.  Her music keeps me calm and happy (makes me want to dance sometimes too =D).

Hope you like her (and her style) as much as me*

Back at Florida on our last night of our Vacation Trip (so sad ='(  ... ), Jay and our good friend Joseph went to the mall for some birthday shopping. Then, they took me the to a Spanish Restaurant located in Downtown Orlando called Ceviche to celebrate my twenty four years of life with some sangría, dessert, laughs and good wishes!

Thanks for the memories,

More details about the Ceviche Restaurant please click here .

Thursday - October 20, 2011

Port Costa Maya, Mexico was our last stop before we continued our journey back home.
Here Jay and I decided to just relax and enjoy a beautiful day at the beach (the exact location was at Mahahual, Quintana Roo), overlooking the serene waters, taking photos and just having fun!

Later that night we enjoyed our fabulous Captain's Night Dinner. Once again, another excuse to dress up! Jay wore the traditional long sleeve shirt and tie, and  I wore one of Jayson's birthday gifts which was a long sleeveless teal green dress from Zara <3 (can't wait for Christmas to wear it again =D).

This was one of my favorite nights of the cruise, and basically my life =)** The slow dancing, the incredible dinning, and just sinking in the reality of how lucky I am to have the most amazing person that I can call the love of my life with me, creating and living all these memories really made this trip perfect!!

Thank You Jayson,

I dedicate this post to you!

First Day at Sea

Sunday, October 30

I was thinking about doing different posts during this week about my Birthday Dream Cruise Vacation (ps: the word dream is not an exaggeration, the cruise name  really is Dream =P).  First I will be writing about the pre-cruise moments as well as the first day at sea.

1) Thursday, Oct 13, 2011I don't know how, but I lost track of time the day I was supposed to be more aware of it and guess what happened?? We lost our flight! Their is a first time for everything, right?! But when life gives you lemons, you HAVE to make lemonade! So... Jay an I bought another flight with another airline just because the policy of our preferred airline sucks and they didn't had a flight departing to Orlando until the next day hahaha! No airline names will be mentioned in this post =P!

2) Friday, Oct 14, 2011We spent the day with Jayson's family and our friend Joseph. We went to the mall to shop for the last items before the cruise and later on we had some dinner. We finished the night early because we wanted to rest and leave everything ready to go for the next morning.

3) Saturday, Oct 15, 2011: After a 40 minute drive to Port Canaveral and 50 minute line/check-in process, finally we were officially onboard! The first thing we did was see the room which was a cute inside cabin big enough for the two of us. About 2:30PM we were up in the highest deck watching the people around us, the ocean, the gray skies, the breeze caressing our faces. We had a big smile on our faces. Our adventure was about to begin! At 4 in the afternoon the ship set sail and we were on our way to one of the best weeks of our lives!
Outfit!: I cant post without telling you guys a little bit about my outfit!! I wanted to wear something cute and simple for the first day in the cruise! I wore blue Zara shorts, striped green and blue top from F21 and my adorable floppy hat =D

Until next post!

I'm Back*

Monday Books

One day I went to a bookstore wanting to find something amazing to read. Walking through the overwhelming amount of books, I couldn't find anything that caught my attention. So I went to this sales person (lol) and asked for  a recommendation and he showed me The Shadow of the Wind. He describe it, I took it, paid for it and now is one of my favorite books.

Sail away

Saturday, September 24

So my birthday is coming up pretty soon (on October 22nd). And I've been thinking for a few weeks now what I am going to do.  This year, for my 23 + 1 birthday, for some reason I just want to do something different!  I already asked for my days off at work for that week, because I want to give myself a vacation as a gift haha. But the funny thing is that I asked for it without knowing to where or when I was leaving!

A lot of places have been on my mind: NYC, Las Vegas, Cancun, LA and Canada. But my boyfriend suggested to go on a 7day cruise. At first I wasn't excited at ALL, for some weird reason that idea wasn't meeting my expectations. But now, it's a different story. He found one leaving from Florida that takes you to The Coast of Mexico, Belize & Honduras. I've been to Mexico before, but never to its beautiful coast line /beaches! I'm sooo excited now!!! And this will also be my first cruise EVER** Yeah!! Traveling is one of my passions, I  absolutely LOVE going to new places, (I think everyone does!) obviously with my camera on hand.

I'm leaving in just a few days now, I prefer saying days instead of weeks because in that way time goes faster! (I think the cruise leaves on October 14 / 15). For me one of the best moments on going on a vacation is the packing process, I just love it!! I have already picked up some pieces I want to pack! (and yes, I'm that excited / anxious!)

Please cross your fingers in the name of good weather!!

I want to buy some stuff before leaving, but I will show you my bday wish list in a few days!

Have a wonderful Saturday!

Until next post*

The best road in life, is the one you love to ride!

I'll follow the sun

Sometimes I found myself in the people I see.

In those moments that I first dream, and then live.

Between the shadows and light of  life.

While I breath, I will find myself in the light,

While I live, I'll  follow the sun.

Pen Partners

Saturday, September 17

I wasn’t going to post anything today, but I just wanted to stop by
and thank Yésica Isabel for her mention of my blog on her blog Hilo Rojo.

Please clik here and visit  --> "Desde que le conocí"

If you understand Spanish, please stop by! It's just amazing (one of my favorites)
She is one of the most special human beings I know! We met each other once
upon a time in Mexico City, we had seen each other only one time after
that (by coincidence), but we've been friends / pen partners ever since!!

She's Genuine, humble, talented and beautiful!!

Almost midnight music

Do you think that you lost it?
You felt it so strong, but
Nothing's turned out how you wanted"

If there was a list of my top 100 favorite songs of all time,

A day in the life: One Ordinary Day

Thursday, September 15

On a rainy afternoon of September, I found myself
wondering (with my camera on hand) on how simple,
but yet beautiful one ordinary day can be.
