A day in the Life: Spring Break

Thursday, March 28

Hope all of you are having a wonderful day!

We are on Spring Break here in PR and the days have been more than beautiful! Jayson’s has been working but on one of his days off we escaped to Old San Juan and acted like tourists for the day. We arrived in the late afternoon, about 3PM and it was SUPER hot! I was glad I wore my maxi dress from Zara that I own now for several years. It’s the perfect amount of comfort and Spring brightness! First we had coffee at Cuatro Sombras (I had the best white mocha ever!), continued wondering trough the cobblestone streets, enjoyed the sunset near the Castillo San Felipe El Morro and finished the night eating tapas at Rosa de Triana! For the first time I decided to do a small video of the day! Obviously I'm not the most skilled in the world of videography but I think it's pretty cute for being the first video ever!

Enjoy!

December Summer*

Friday, March 22

A few days ago I started to edit/work on my official wedding photos! I just can't wait to finish them so I can FINALLY show them to friends, family and of course all of you =D. Anyway, I was searching on my computer files and saw the few pictures Jay and I took on our mini 3 day honeymoon to Culebra Island and wanted to share them here at the blog! I know it’s been a few months from the Big Day* and I truly hope I don’t bore you with all this!  It’s just that it was one of the best (if not the best) moments of my life. Everything from the dress, decor, venue, theme was personalized and created by us (Jay&me) close friends and family. I have like two more posts to come with a few big day/wedding tips and more photos!

Let the colors burst!

Wednesday, March 13

I just arrived from a long day of work. I had a wedding on a beautiful hacienda on the northeast countryside of the Island. The theme was all western chic. It was a long but fun day! I have a lot of work ahead of me with all the weddings I’ve photographed recently and I’m pretty excited of showing them to all of you =) But for now I deserve a nap and a shopping day haha...

Anyway, I haven’t had the time on the past days to take outfit pictures except yesterday when I wore my white Zara peplum skirt with my striped pink and red top! I added an additional color with the blue wedges!

More posts coming this week <3

The SUN is on my SIDE

Monday, March 4

Hello!

Hope all of you are having a wonderful Monday* Here has been raining pretty much all day, which is nice! I’m currently working on some weddings I have to turn in this week. I’m so anxious to finish them and show them to all of you at my photography blog =) !!!

Ok... Now more on my outfit...

I wore this during the weekend to I spend some time with my sister-in-law, Dacil. We went out for dinner and stopped at Old San Juan to walk a bit and take some pictures. The outfit is really simple and  spring inspired. The lace white top, light green high-waisted maxi skirt and statement necklace are all from Forever 21. I added tones of pink with the lips and bag for a more colorful look!

Until next post,

Nydia

I spy

Saturday, March 2

I had to show you some pics I took of Güiffy. I just can’t get enough of this face!  He likes to keep an eye on my every move lol* Isn’t he the cutest??

Below are some pictures of one of my recent outfits. I think I've never posted a picture with my hair in a side ponytail. But lately it’s been pretty windy where I live so I had to tame my hair a bit haha...  I wore my highwaisted pants (leggings) with a oversized black and white Zara sweater, only 8$ on sale with a pair of ankle booties also on sale for 9$. Can I say double score!? The outfit is a mix of comfy and casual with a twist! And of course I can't forget the pop of color: RED on the lips and nails!

Hope all of you like this outfit as well.

Happy weekend everyone!
