The first time I saw this shorts it was love at first sight! The light green color and the petal cut of them is super adorable, just perfect for Spring. For this outfit I wanted to keep a simple and vintage look! So I grabbed my floral print bralette, with a light cardigan and to finish the outfit, I added my rounded sunnies that give an extra touch for the Spring sunny vibe I was going for!  If you want to see another outfit I wore with this top click here!

Hope all of you are having a wonderful day,

Until next post!

A day in the Life: Spring Break

Thursday, March 28

Hope all of you are having a wonderful day!

We are on Spring Break here in PR and the days have been more than beautiful! Jayson’s has been working but on one of his days off we escaped to Old San Juan and acted like tourists for the day. We arrived in the late afternoon, about 3PM and it was SUPER hot! I was glad I wore my maxi dress from Zara that I own now for several years. It’s the perfect amount of comfort and Spring brightness! First we had coffee at Cuatro Sombras (I had the best white mocha ever!), continued wondering trough the cobblestone streets, enjoyed the sunset near the Castillo San Felipe El Morro and finished the night eating tapas at Rosa de Triana! For the first time I decided to do a small video of the day! Obviously I'm not the most skilled in the world of videography but I think it's pretty cute for being the first video ever!

Different ways to wear: White Blouse

Black Floral

Sunday, March 24

Past weekend my sister and I did a little bonding shopping for some Spring goodies. One of the items I brought home was this lovely black floral print dress from Forever 21. I love the contrast of the black with the side pink flower pattern. And the price... less than $18. Who said that looking chic had to be expensive? Kept a pretty simple look adding my quilted navy blue bag with gold/cream heels from BCBGeneration. I also did my nails, which is always a fun way to accessorize an outfit. I choose a bright coral/red color with a cute pink glitter nail for contrast!

Cant wait to wear this dress in a more casual way!

Have a wonderful Sunday*

PS: Here is ridiculously perfect day. Bright blue skies and perfect sun, great for some beach or pool time!

December Summer*

Friday, March 22

A few days ago I started to edit/work on my official wedding photos! I just can't wait to finish them so I can FINALLY show them to friends, family and of course all of you =D. Anyway, I was searching on my computer files and saw the few pictures Jay and I took on our mini 3 day honeymoon to Culebra Island and wanted to share them here at the blog! I know it’s been a few months from the Big Day* and I truly hope I don’t bore you with all this!  It’s just that it was one of the best (if not the best) moments of my life. Everything from the dress, decor, venue, theme was personalized and created by us (Jay&me) close friends and family. I have like two more posts to come with a few big day/wedding tips and more photos!

Happy Friday*

Currently obsessed with...

Thursday, March 21

My older sister always talked to me about Pretty Little Liars and how much she loves it but I never found the time or the inspiration to sit and watch every single season. It wasn’t until a few weeks back that I decided to do so. The girls are absolutely beautiful and the story is quite interesting. Is a veeeery girly show with a lot of drama  which sometimes is necessary in my life... as long as it’s fake! hahaha...

Ed Sheeran: His voice is just breathtaking, and his music so profound and sincere. I’ve been listening to Give Me Love non-stop since the first time I heard it, love the live version.

I’m not a BIG fan of electronic music (not compared to my husband or my sister in law) but this song is just fun! Perfect for Summer <3

Maroon 5 - Lucky Strike <3

“I used to dream about escaping my ordinary life, but my life was never ordinary.
I had simply failed to notice how extraordinary it was.”

Last week I finished reading Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs.  It’s quite different from anything I’ve read before. It mixes a very interesting and kind of creepy collection of photographs between the text. It’s about a young boy named Jacob and his journey to understand the story behind his grandfather’s death and his collection of strange photographs and the children that appear on them. His curiosity and need to understand takes him to an unforgettable and lifechanging adventure to an abandoned orphanage on a Welsh Island.  There he discovers Miss Peregrine and the home of Peculiar Children.

Must read if you like mystery, adventure and love stories!

Spring Florals

Sunday, March 17

Hello Everyone*

Hope all of you had an amazing weekend!

This was the outfit I wore today! Super casual and comfy look for some grocery shopping and staying at home with family! I styled a cream & orange floral print shorts with a simple gold button up blouse from F21 and for a more visual interest I added my Zara forest green top for layering (which apparently I can’t take off.. love it!) As for accessories: my club-master sunglasses, gold/blue necklace and ankle booties!

Don’t forget to visit my latest post! I made a small wishlist for Spring/Summer =D

Until next post,

Blue Heart

Friday, March 15

I wanted to share yesterday’s colorful and happy outfit!

I bought this dress at Forever 21 last week it was under 13$. Isn’t it absolutely adorable? I loved how simple and yet how fun it is. To create a balance between casual and dressed-up, added a red blazer from Zara, light purple/silver necklace with blue chunky wedges. For my hair I made a side braided bun to finish up the look.

What do you think? Let me know...

Happy Friday Everyone!

Let the colors burst!

Wednesday, March 13

I just arrived from a long day of work. I had a wedding on a beautiful hacienda on the northeast countryside of the Island. The theme was all western chic. It was a long but fun day! I have a lot of work ahead of me with all the weddings I’ve photographed recently and I’m pretty excited of showing them to all of you =) But for now I deserve a nap and a shopping day haha...

Anyway, I haven’t had the time on the past days to take outfit pictures except yesterday when I wore my white Zara peplum skirt with my striped pink and red top! I added an additional color with the blue wedges!

More posts coming this week <3

The SUN is on my SIDE

Monday, March 4

Hope all of you are having a wonderful Monday* Here has been raining pretty much all day, which is nice! I’m currently working on some weddings I have to turn in this week. I’m so anxious to finish them and show them to all of you at my photography blog =) !!!

Ok... Now more on my outfit...

I wore this during the weekend to I spend some time with my sister-in-law, Dacil. We went out for dinner and stopped at Old San Juan to walk a bit and take some pictures. The outfit is really simple and  spring inspired. The lace white top, light green high-waisted maxi skirt and statement necklace are all from Forever 21. I added tones of pink with the lips and bag for a more colorful look!

Until next post,

I spy

Saturday, March 2

I had to show you some pics I took of Güiffy. I just can’t get enough of this face!  He likes to keep an eye on my every move lol* Isn’t he the cutest??

Below are some pictures of one of my recent outfits. I think I've never posted a picture with my hair in a side ponytail. But lately it’s been pretty windy where I live so I had to tame my hair a bit haha...  I wore my highwaisted pants (leggings) with a oversized black and white Zara sweater, only 8$ on sale with a pair of ankle booties also on sale for 9$. Can I say double score!? The outfit is a mix of comfy and casual with a twist! And of course I can't forget the pop of color: RED on the lips and nails!

Hope all of you like this outfit as well.

Happy weekend everyone!
