A day in the life: Hello, Beautiful!

Being in Old San Juan brings back so many good memories. Some of my favorites spots for photos, coffee and food are in this little charming city. 

Walking by the bright  beautiful colored doors and houses made me realize how wonderful it is to have a place like this in the world. Without forgetting the fact that the December weather is just so lovely. Allowing to truly enjoy walks at a slower pace, to stop and stare a little more than usual. It makes me feel so at home but with a hint of nostalgia. Being there reminds of the fact that I miss my husband deeply, who loves this city even more the me. 

Estar en el Viejo San Juan me trae tan buenos recuerdos. Algunos de mis lugares preferidos para comer, hacer fotos y tomar café se encuentran en esta encantadora y pequeña ciudad. Mientras camino y observo las puertas de colores brillantes y sus hermosas casas me percato de lo maravilloso que es tener en el mundo un lugar cómo éste. Y más en ésta época cuando el clima es tan divino; te permite disfrutar de paseos a un ritmo más lento. Este lugar me hace sentir como en casa y a la vez nostálgica ya que extraño profundamente la compañía de Jay quien ama esta ciudad aún más que yo.

Let’s talk a bit more about fashion, shall we?

The reality of life in the Caribbean is that you truly forget that the change of seasons even exists. So for the day I gave myself a chance to part away from my black and white routines to wear a colorful outfit.  I styled a bright yellow top with a striped skirt accessorized by my new frosted bag from Zara and black heels. So, before I leave let me just be clear: the probability that my next outfit post I’ll be wearing the color black is pretty high haha…

Vamos a hablar un poco más sobre la moda, ¿de acuerdo?

La realidad de la vida en el Caribe es que uno olvida que el cambio de las estaciones existe. Así que por un día me di la oportunidad de separarme de mis atuendos en blanco y negro para llevar algo más colorido. Combiné top amarillo brillante con una falda de rayas utilizando como accesorios mi nueva bolsa de Zara y zapatos de tacón.
