Retiro Park & Prado Museum: Eurotrip Diaries

Thursday, August 15

The second day in Madrid consisted in visiting the Prado Museum and Retiro Park. We did a lot of walking, it was a beautiful sunny day, really hot, but still gorgeous. It was a Tuesday morning meaning that the park was pretty empty and enjoyable. I loved walking through the pieces of shadow and light of the trees and watching every fountain, museum, gardens appear like magic =D. My favorite place of the whole park was the Palacio de Cristal, which is built in its majority of crystal windows and ceilings, where you can enjoy the surroundings of the palace. Iniside, all you see is natural sunlight and Mitsoy Miura Imagined Memories exhibition. Breathtaking building <3 At the Prado Museum we got to see Goya’s Black Paintings and maybe one of my favorite paintings: The Garden of Earthly Delights. We also went to la Gran Vía a did some summer sale shopping. Bought a pair of beautiful Zara heels and a statement necklace that I can’t wait to showcase it here at the blog.

Hope your enjoying this type of blog post. I will also be doing outfit post and whatnot’s along the way!

Until next time,

Nydia

Nydia
